Science Reflection

The science fair was my favorite project in 6th grade. In my science project I learned how apples decompose and how long it takes for an apple to fully decompose and mold. It was interesting because I have always asked myself why foods such as breads and apples mold. The project was fun at times but fun at others. I took a lot of notes and did a lot of research to make the project look very good.

The information I studied about the decomposition apples could be helpful in every day. For example: If you start eating an apple one day and you decide you don’t want to finish it till later. So you put the apple in your fridge and come to eat it later, but it is brown. No matter how much you keep an apple cold for it to stay fresh, it will always become brown because oxygen is anywhere and no matter if it’s cold air or hot air. The apple will still start to decompose. This may also happen to other fruits and vegetables.
